Trying to follow the success of Fast and the Furious movie, Electronic Arts try to bring one of its flagship Need For Speed to the big screen. Beside Grand Turismo, Need For Speed is one of the most success racing games. Since released on 1994, Need For Speed franchise already sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
EA (Electronic Arts), has just hired George and John Gatins (Real Steel) to write the screenplay of Need For Speed movie.
Several major studio in Hollywood even compete each other to get the copyright of EA adaptation film, including Warner Bros, Sony, and Paramount. Just Universal Pictures who does not interest, because they already have their own racing movie, which is Fast and the Furious.
