Warner Bros who working with DC Comics feels frustrated by the success of Marvel's The Avengers that was released several weeks ago. Now they have hired writers to work on competing story by raising The Avengers rival, Justice League.



As reported by Variety, Will Beall (Gangster Squad) has been choosed to work on the story of  DC Comics superhero team consisting of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Green Arrow, and Aquaman. This project has previously initiated in 2007 with director George Miller. For some reason, this project didn't continue.

Apart from that, another fact which strengthens the development of the film is the involving of Christian Bale who is willing to play Batman again after Nolan's Batman saga is finished. On the other hand, there is new Superman who played by Henry Cavill in Man of Steel that will be released in 2013.

Marvel Studios newest superhero movie, The Avengers has scored remarkable debut when it was first released on May 4. Featuring six strongest superhero on earth, The Avengers earned U.S. $ 200.3 million just in three days.

The question now is will this earnings record will be crossed by The Dark Knight Rises?


The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises is the most awaited movie around the world. Even a few months before its release, both film were already discussed by a lot of people on the internet.

The director of The Avengers, Joss Whedon seems doesn't care about competition his film with The Dark Knight. Even Whedon was deeply looking forward to the release of the last Christopher Nolan's Batman movie.

"Whatever the results are achieved by The Dark Knight Rising in the first week i'm still going to buy the tickets," said Whedon as reported Aceshowbiz, Friday (05/11/2012).

Although the film reach success all over the world, it does not mean The Avengers get easy access to cooperate with U.S. Department of Defense. Reportedly, Pentagon rejected the cooperation submission from Marvel Studios because The Avengers is far from reality. 






U.S. military is already used to work together with Hollywood films. But they feel are not relevant to S.H.I.E.L.D. as told in the film. 


"Are we working for SHIELD? We decided not to do anything (with The Avengers film)," says Phil Strub from U.S. Department of Defense as reported by Wired, Tuesday (05/08/2012).


"It's just getting to the point where the movie makes no sense," added Sturb.


He also explained that the latest  U.S. military stealth fighter aircraft, F-22 Raptors and F-35 JSF has been digitally modified by  studio. SHIELD helicarrier is not the actual aircraft that is provided by government.

After successful playing as Loki in The Avangers, Tom Hiddleston hope in the future he could play in comedy movie project, so he can wear normal clothes and not costumes like characters in comic.
