2012 MTV Movie Awards Nominations List

2012 MTV Movie Awards event will be held next month. Towards the event, the organizers released list of nominees consisting of 12 categories.


This year box office movie The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids is leading with each received 8 nominations. Meanwhile, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2 and Breaking Dawn Part 2 just appear in Film Of The Year category.

The Hunger Games still Unbeatable on Box Office

The Hunger Games are not invincible at Box Office. After successfully defeating the previous ticket sales of Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games movie seemed have a change to become the best-selling film in this year. In his second week on box office, film adaptation of Suzzanne Collins's best-selling novel is still topped the Box Office.



And in this week is the release date of two other big films. The first film is Wrath of the Titans which is a sequel to the blockbuster film Clash of the Titans. While the film is Mirror Mirror, a film that describes a new version of Snow White fairy tale story, starring Lily Collins and Julia Roberts.

The Hunger Games beat Star Wars and The Dark Knight Box Office

If you go to the movies now, then you will probably find that the queue is long enough to watch the latest Lionsgate film titled The Hunger Games. This film had been highly anticipated for a long time, especially the fans of The Hunger Games that have read the novel long ago.


Almost in all country the enthusiasm was seen from the audiences. Recently released couple of days,  The Hunger Games managed to break some record. On the first night broadcast (midnight show) in America, The Hunger Games immediately scored a box office record as the greatest revenue from midnight show on the first day all the time. The Hunger Games managed to get $ 19.7 million that currently airing in over 2500 theaters.
