After a lot of rumors are often reported in the media, the new version of Robocop movie has finally announced release schedule which is on August 9, 2013.
The actor who star TV series The Killing, Joel Kinnaman have signed a contract for the role of Alex J. Murphy (Robocop) that has previously been successfully acted by Peter Weller. In the new version of Robocop, Jole Kinnaman reportedly will compete acting with Russell Crowe and Michael Fassbender. This film will by directed by Jose Padilha (director who directed Elite Squad movie). The new version of Robocop is tell a story about one of Detroit police officer who turned into cyborg cop.
Jose ensure that this new version will have very significant difference from the previous film. To emphasize the difference, Jose Padilha will be in collaboration with Nick Schenk, script writer of Gran Torino movie. This hope the new Robocop movie could offer something new for action film lovers as well as Robocop loyal fans.
It is still uncertain who else the supporting actors will be involved in the film. The film will begin the process of shooting this year.
