20th Century Fox prepare Chronicle sequel

Achieved success since it was released in early February 2012, 20th Centruy Fox is now known have prepared Chronicle movie sequel to repeat the success they have achieved previously

According to news reported by the deadline, 20th Century Fox has signed a contract with Chronicle writer, Max Landis to continue the stories of Chronicle movie. The story have been made for the sequel of this movie. While director Josh Trank, is still uncertain about his involvement in Chronicle 2. Although the film production Chronicle spent 12 million dollars, but the film earn total profit of 105 million dollars just in 33 days from the release date of February 3, 2012.


The film is a sci-fi action genre, the story about three young men named Andrew Detmer (Dane DeHaan), Matt Garetty (Alex Russell), and Steve Montgomery (Michael B. Jordan) who suddenly gets super powers through a foreign object they find in the woods

Beside Chronicle 2 project, Max Landis also been working on a short film titled The Death and Return of Superman (2011). While his co-writing and the first Chronicle director, Josh Trank, is now widely rumored will be film director of Venom movie and Fantastic Four sequel.
