This movie is adaptation of Broadway musical show with same name Rock of Ages. Rock of Ages film tells the story of a girl named Sherrie (Julianne Hough) and his friend Drew (Diego Boneta) who tries to pursue their dreams in Hollywood.
Drew then just fell in love with a famous rocker Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise). And they traveled together with music fads everyday such as Def Leppard, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, and Whitesnake.
In addition to Tom Cruise, the film starred by several famous stars such as Russell Brand, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mary J. Blige, and Alec Baldwin.
