[Rec] and [Rec] 2 are series of Spanish horror movies that achieved great success when released on 2007 and 2009. Because of the popularity, Holywood even produced the remake movie titled Quarantine. Now after, 3 years since the last movie, [Rec] 2, Paco Plaza once again has directed the next sequel, [Rec] 3 : Genesis.



Unlike the second movie who continue the story of the first movie, the third movie will feature a totally different new story. The story take places in totally different place. This time the set is marriage party. The day that should be a happy day become disaster when there someone infected in there. A couple who just married have to stay alive because of zombie attack.

If you has watched [Rec] and [Rec] 2, then you will find several uncover information that hidden in this movie. This of course will be one part of the whole story that will end in the next sequel, [Rec 4] 4 Apocalypse.

There are many versions of a tale of Snow White. From the happy style of Walt Disney's to dark and sinister version of the Grimm Brothers's. Then, what about Kristen Stewart's Snow White version?

Snow White and The Huntsman begins with the voice of narrator who tells the story of the origin of Snow White (the method is also used by the another Snow White version movie that was released a few months earlier, "Mirror Mirror"). After the death of the Queen (Liberty Ross), The King (Noah Huntley) met Ravenna (Charlize Theron with her beautiful and creepy charm).

As a cop, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are not so formidable. Indeed they are one of the most troubled cop you'll ever meet. However, because they face are cute and fresh, they are assigned as high school student undercover to catch a drug dealers.

Schmidt and Jenko themselves are used to be high school friend. However, both of them had different social areas. Schmidt was a nerd, while Jenko was popular student. The funny thing is when disguised as school student again, their positions was reversed. Schmidt is now considered as cool student by other students, while Jenko is considered as a weird boy. With this condition, the investigation is starting.

Warner Bros who working with DC Comics feels frustrated by the success of Marvel's The Avengers that was released several weeks ago. Now they have hired writers to work on competing story by raising The Avengers rival, Justice League.



As reported by Variety, Will Beall (Gangster Squad) has been choosed to work on the story of  DC Comics superhero team consisting of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Green Arrow, and Aquaman. This project has previously initiated in 2007 with director George Miller. For some reason, this project didn't continue.

Apart from that, another fact which strengthens the development of the film is the involving of Christian Bale who is willing to play Batman again after Nolan's Batman saga is finished. On the other hand, there is new Superman who played by Henry Cavill in Man of Steel that will be released in 2013.

The Dark Knight Rises just release cool new poster. This new poster featuring the Batman with his new costume standing in front of the  crumbling building that looks like burn and form a bat logo.



The Dark Knight Rises is the last from Nolan Batman Trilogy. Christian Bale still play in this movie as Batman. The enemy of this movie is Bane, played by Tom Hardy (Inception, Warrior). The Dark Knight Rises will tell about what happened eight years after the events in the second film (The Dark Knight).

A dangerous terrorist, Bane spreading terror on Gotham and forces Batman to come face to face with him in the battle of life and death. Beside  Christian Bale and Tom Hardy, the film will also stars Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.

The Dark Knight Rises will enter to theaters starting July 20, 2012.

Rush Hour fans seem will be disappointed when reading this news. As reported by Digital Spy, one of the key players in Rush Hours series, Jackie Chan, has no plans to play in the fourth series.
Quoted by Empire, Jackie Chan said: "I do not want to be involved in that project at this time. Maybe in five or ten years. The possibility is at the time I already retired."


Jackie Chan well known as an actor who rarely use stuntmans in all his films. He also said: "Maybe if they want to make the old version of Rush Hour characters, the story could be interesting. But for now, i don't have any interest to join in that project."

Rush Hour is one of action comedy that rise the name of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. The first Rush Hour film that directed by Brett Ratner was released in 1998.

Jackie Chan is currently busy promoting his new movie titled China Zodiac. Chan admitted if the film would be his last action movie.

Steve Jobs life's journey not only documented in biography, but also in the film. The storyline of Steve Jobs biography movie will be arranged by the author of The Social Network screenwriter, Aaron Sorkin. As quoted from technology site CNet, Wednesday (16/05/2012), Sorkin eventually agreed the offer from Sony Pictures Entertainment, company that will publish Steve Jobs film.



"There is no better Hollywood screenwriter than Aaron Sorkin, if you look for someone who can make someone biography into a movie he is the one," said Vice Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Amy Pascal. "In the hands Sorkin, we believe this film will bring everything about Steve Jobs who is charming, entertaining, and dare to against the flow."

This year is a fortunate year for Channing Tatum. After The Vow and 21 Jump Street and some of film that have not released yet, Tatum now is negotiating to join in Roland Emmerich's new film titled White House Down.


This movie tell about a secret agent that work to protect the president. As reported at Aceshowbiz, Tatum will star as the secret  agent. In the film, he has to protect the president when Pennsylvania Avenue is occupied by the paramilitary groups.

White House Down is scheduled to process principal photography this summer. Beside Tatum, Sony Pictures is still looking the suitable actor for the president and the head of the secret service.

Leonard Nimoy, who plays the character of old Spock in original version of Star Trek series claim have come to the film shooting of  JJ Abrams's Star Trek 2. Because of that, there is a rumor said his involvement in that film.



"I visited the set one day and it led to speculation that I was involved in the film. That's just speculation," he said as reported by StarTrek.com, Monday (05/14/2012).

According to him, that visit just a ordinary talk. Nimoy just want to see and meet with the players.

"Zachary Quinto has been filling the character of Spock, and I think he fits perfectly with the costumes," he added.

Plot in Star Trek 2 movie still a secret. This science fiction movie will be released on May 17, 2013. Star Trek 2 will feature Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban and John Cho as Spock, Uhura, James T. Kirk, Scotty, Pavel, Bones and Hikaru Sulu.

A new clip of The Amazing Spiderman has been released as a form of promotion of reboot of Spider-Man movie that will be enter the theatre in July. This film has been much awaited by Spiderman fans. This film will star Andrew Garfield as young Peter Parker who is trying to uncover the history of his family and accidentally gets new powers through the bite of a radioactive spider. Another star was chosen to accompany Andrew is Emma Stone, Michael Sheen, Sally Field and Rhys Ifans.



Latest clip The Amazing Spiderman was uploaded on Oscorp Industries website, a fictitious company that plays a major role in the plot of the movie will be. After pointing Robert Pattinson as the main actor in Mission : Blacklist film, Embankment Films does not want to waste time for not promoting the film. The first promo begins by distributing the first teaser poster. Instead of showing off Robert Pattinson figure, the poster only filled with eyes and several text all over the place in the poster.

Marvel Studios newest superhero movie, The Avengers has scored remarkable debut when it was first released on May 4. Featuring six strongest superhero on earth, The Avengers earned U.S. $ 200.3 million just in three days.

The question now is will this earnings record will be crossed by The Dark Knight Rises?


The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises is the most awaited movie around the world. Even a few months before its release, both film were already discussed by a lot of people on the internet.

The director of The Avengers, Joss Whedon seems doesn't care about competition his film with The Dark Knight. Even Whedon was deeply looking forward to the release of the last Christopher Nolan's Batman movie.

"Whatever the results are achieved by The Dark Knight Rising in the first week i'm still going to buy the tickets," said Whedon as reported Aceshowbiz, Friday (05/11/2012).

Role as a vampire who rose from the grave in Dark Shadows seems make Johnny Depp have to makeup in such a way. Because his nails was too long, Depp feel difficult if he want to pee. This was revealed when he was a guest in talk show with Ellen DeGeneres. As 200 years old vampire with full makeup, Depp could not go to the toilet alone.

Success with The Avengers, Marvel Studio is preparing to develop their film such as Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Captain America 2. Among the three upcoming films, producer Kevin Feige revealed that Captain America sequel  is the one that will be made in advance.



"If we do an Avengers 2 it will be after [Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2]. They have to grow, they have to change." He added, "What they've gone through in this movie will impact their state of mind and where they stand in their next movies." Feige said.

Feige also explain why he did not display the Skrulls in The Avengers and place Loki as the main villain.

Although the film reach success all over the world, it does not mean The Avengers get easy access to cooperate with U.S. Department of Defense. Reportedly, Pentagon rejected the cooperation submission from Marvel Studios because The Avengers is far from reality. 






U.S. military is already used to work together with Hollywood films. But they feel are not relevant to S.H.I.E.L.D. as told in the film. 


"Are we working for SHIELD? We decided not to do anything (with The Avengers film)," says Phil Strub from U.S. Department of Defense as reported by Wired, Tuesday (05/08/2012).


"It's just getting to the point where the movie makes no sense," added Sturb.


He also explained that the latest  U.S. military stealth fighter aircraft, F-22 Raptors and F-35 JSF has been digitally modified by  studio. SHIELD helicarrier is not the actual aircraft that is provided by government.
