City of Bones : Another Novel Adaptation Film that that ready to Compete The Hunger Games

Current teen fantasy novel has become such a gold mine for Hollywood filmmakers to make profit  through the film adaptation project. This has been proven by three previous teenage fantasy film that was made to the big screen. Three of them (Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games) achieve extraordinary success and generate hundred million dollar profit. Following those three novels adaptation success, now there is one new teen fantasy novel which is also projected to be made into film. What is the novel title? It is City Of Bones.



According to the story in the novel, City of Bones tells a story of an ordinary girl named Clary Fray who was not just a ordinary girl just as expected. Since her mother was kidnapped, Clary almost die because of demon attack. She was forced to go into new dark world, Shadow World.
It turned out that since thousands of years ago, only Nephilims (angels descendant) that always kill evil to protect humans. They are called Dark Hunters. Clary later met with one of Dark Hunter named Jace, who then feeling in love with him. Together, they engaged in battle against vampires, witches, and demons.

The film stars Lily Collins who play at Mirror Mirror as Clary Fray. While the main male character hasn't been decided yet.

City of Bones is the first series of The Mortal Instruments series from Cassandra Claire's novel. There are total 6 books to be written for this series. Five among them have been released and the last novel, City of Heavenly Fire will be released in 2014.

If the first series success, it is not impossible if all the novel series will also be made to the big screen as well as three predecessors (Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, and The Hunger Games).

City of Bones will be released on August 23, 2013, several months before the second film of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire come out
