There are several superhero film will be released in 2011. One of them are Thor. Thor is comic book character of the same name published by Marvel Comics. If you don't know about this character at all, Thor is the god of thunder based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. This film will star Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander and Anthony Hopkins. Matthew Vaughn was to direct the film in late 2008 for a release in 2010. Branagh replaced Vaughn in late 2008, and the film's release was rescheduled into 2011.

Fast Five (Fast and Furious V) is the title of the fifth The Fast and the Furious movie. This is the sequel of The Fast & Furious and the prequel of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in Fast Five. In this installment, former cop Brian O'Conner partners with ex-con Dom Toretto on the opposite side of the law. Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) complete the all-star cast for this film.

Green Hornet is a very popular TV series during 1966-1967. That TV series featured legendary Bruce Lee who play as Kato in the film. Now, based on the character of the same name that had originated in a 1930s radio program, Green Hornet will appear once again on cinema. Directed by Michel Gondry, the film will stars Seth Rogen. Supporting actors include Jay Chou as Kato, Christoph Waltz, Cameron Diaz and many other. The story is still the same but with more modern action scene. Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) becomes the new publisher of Los Angeles' "The Daily Sentinel" after the sudden death of his father. Britt's party life is about to change when he and his driver and kung fu expert, Kato (Jay Chou), stop a robbery. With the help of Kato, Britt starts a new career of fighting crime as the masked superhero "The Green Hornet".

The fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series will also be released this year. Unlike the previous films, which were shot primarily on location in the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides had most of its production in Hawaii. Two stars (Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightley) from the previous Pirates series will not appear in this film. As the substitute will appear Penelope Cruzz in this film. The plot draws inspiration from the novel On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers, which is the same novel that inspired The Secret of Monkey Island game. This time Captain Jack Sparrow (Johny Deep) will travel with Angelica (Penelope Cruzz) searching for Fountain of Youth that supposedly can make people keep young forever. Problems getting worse when Jack realizes that Angelica is the daughter of the pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), the enemy of Jack Sparrow. But the journey has started and Jack would not turn back from the adventure.

There are already a lot of superhero character who appear in film. Next year, there will be new superhero character who appear in film. It's Captain America.  With title Captain America: The First Avenger, the film will stars Chris Evans as Captain America with Joe Johnston directing a script. The movie is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011. The film is scheduled to be released in 3D

Long time no see Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson back in action again. This year, he play for action film titled Faster. The film tell about an ex-con sets out to avenge his brother's death after they were double-crossed during a heist years ago. The plot is simply enough. The Rock walks or rather runs out of prison after 10 years and starts hunting down the guys responsible for killing his brother. Things get complicated when the cops (Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino) and a playboy-assassin (Oliver Cohen) and his girlfriend (Maggie Grace, LOST!) start hunting him.

Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Darren Aronofsky. The film stars Vincent Cassel as the director, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis as ballet dancers in a New York City production of Swan Lake. This production requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina (Portman) fits the White Swan role perfectly, while Lily (Kunis) is the ideal personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina grows more in touch with her dark side, with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

The director also considered Black Swan a companion piece to his 2008 film The Wrestler, with both films involving demanding performances for different kinds of art. He and Portman first discussed the project in 2000, and after a brief attachment to Universal Pictures, Black Swan was produced in New York City in 2009 by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Cowboys & Aliens lifted from the comic series by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. Appropriate title, Cowboys & Aliens told extraterrestrials who landed in Arizona in the mid of 1873 with the aim of mastering the region Wild West and enslave humans. A foreign man, Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) is stranded in a meadow in the town of Absolution and memory loss. The only clue is a mysterious accesories around his left wrist. Jake Absolution Lonergan arrived in town, but residents rejected the city because their presence was overcome with fear. This makes the colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde  (Harrison Ford) capture and imprison Jake Lonergan because he thought Jake is a dangerous fugitive. However, when Woodrow want arrest Jake, a beam of bright light blue with high-speed began to emerge from the sky. It turned out the lights that light originating from light aircraft aliens who are ready to attack the remote town. One by one the townspeople kidnapped and helpless against alien attack.

A woman (Elizabeth Banks) is accused of murder. This affects the relationship between her and her professor husband (Russell Crowe) and son, who takes extreme actions in an attempt to free her from prison. The Next Three Days is a remake of the 2007 French film Pour Elle (Anything for Her) by Fred Cavayé. The plot of Pour Elle involved a teacher Julien (Vincent Lindon) who experienced difficulties when his wife (Diane Kruger) became a suspect in a murder investigation and was arrested. Julien does not believe that his wife is guilty of the crime, and attempts to remove her from the prison.

Heat Vision reported that Warner Bros officialy announced the release date for Batman 3 which is on 20 July 2012. The script for the third Batman film was written by David Goyer. The good news is, Christoper Nolan still will be the director of this third series. Two weeks before the release of Batman 3, Marc Webb's superhero film, Spiderman will also be released on 3 July 2010.

Aiming to make the latest entry in the Final Destination series, New Line has nabbed writer Eric Heisserer to create the script.

Heisserer is getting something of a reputation for getting problem films solved and shooting: he’s credited with the screenplays for both the new Nightmare On Elm Street and the prequel to The Thing. Both had lingered in development for a while.

What will happen if the world's two best director collaborated to make a movie? That will become reality, because Peter Jackson (Lord of The Ring, King Kong, District 9) and Steven Spilberg (ET, Jurassic Park, War of The Worlds) have plan to make a movie that picked up the story of the legendary cartoon series The Adventures of Titin. With title The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, the film scheduled to release on the end of year 2011. Some players are determined to appear in this movie include Daniel Craig, Jamie Bell and Simon Pegg.

I'm attracted to several name mentioned in this film cast. There are Steven Seagal, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro. What i seldom heard is the actor who play as the main character, Danny Trejo. In fact this is the first Danny Trejo film that he play as the main character. Danny Trejo play as Federale Machete, a professional assasin who using machete to kill his victim. He was betrayed and set-up by his boss, Torrez (Steven Seagal). Once again he get the job to assassinate Senator McLaughlin (Robert De Niro). Once again betrayed and set-up, Machete plots his revenge with the help of several resistance fighter.
