What i seldom heard is the actor who play as the main character, Danny Trejo. In fact this is the first Danny Trejo film that he play as the main character. Danny Trejo play as Federale Machete, a professional assasin who using machete to kill his victim. He was betrayed and set-up by his boss, Torrez (Steven Seagal). Once again he get the job to assassinate Senator McLaughlin (Robert De Niro). Once again betrayed and set-up, Machete plots his revenge with the help of several resistance fighter.
